Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) govern the services provided by Pure Valeting & Detail LTD T/A Pure Paint Protection Film (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before booking. These Terms apply to all services provided by us within the United Kingdom.

2. Services Provided

We offer professional installation of Paint Protection Film (PPF) to protect your vehicle’s paintwork from environmental damage, debris, and general wear and tear. All installations are performed by trained professionals using high-quality Xpel films.

3. Bookings and Appointments

3.1 Bookings are subject to availability and will be confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total service price.

3.2 The full remaining balance must be paid upon completion of the work, prior to the vehicle’s handover.

3.3 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment if you arrive late. Rescheduling may result in delays in the service being completed on time.

3.4 If you need to amend your booking, you must provide at least 5 working days’ notice. Bookings amended within this timeframe will not result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Pricing and Payments

4.1 All prices are based on the size and condition of the vehicle, as well as the level of service required.

4.2 Full payment is due upon completion of the work and prior to the vehicle being handed back to the customer. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments, excluding American Express and corporate cards.

4.3 Prices are subject to change at our discretion and without prior notice; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the agreed-upon rate.

4.4 In the event that full payment is not received upon completion of work, we reserve the right to charge interest on overdue balances at a rate of 2% per month. Any legal costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts will be charged to the customer.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 The 25% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances if the booking is cancelled.

However, depending on the reason for cancellation, we may credit the deposit toward future services at our discretion.

5.2 We may amend your booking without penalty, provided you give us at least 5 working days’ notice.

5.3 We reserve the right to refuse service if the vehicle is found to be in an unsuitable condition for the application of paint protection film, or if the requested service cannot be completed to our standards. In such cases, we may offer to reschedule or cancel the booking, subject to a full refund of the deposit.

6. Warranty

6.1 We provide the Xpel manufacturer’s warranty, which covers product failure for a period of 10 years. This warranty is limited to defects such as yellowing, staining, cracking, and peeling of the PPF.

6.2 Our installation warranty covers issues directly related to the application of the PPF for 12 months from the date of installation. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover damages caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care of the film post-installation.

6.3 Damage caused by exposure to environmental factors such as bird droppings, tree sap, acid rain, or extreme weather conditions is not covered under the warranty. Additionally, damages caused by accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, or third-party actions are not covered.

6.4 Use of automatic or roadside car washes, abrasive cleaning tools, or improper maintenance will void both the Xpel manufacturer’s warranty and our 12-month installation warranty.

7. Liability

7.1 We do not accept liability for any pre-existing damage on your vehicle that is present at the time of booking. A pre-delivery inspection will be conducted, and any such damage will be noted.

7.2 We reserve the right to take photographs of the vehicle before and after installation to document its condition. These photos may be used to resolve any disputes regarding pre-existing damage or the quality of the installation.

7.3 In the unlikely event that damage is caused to your vehicle during its stay with us, we will accept responsibility and ensure that repairs are made to rectify the damage.

7.4 We do not accept liability for any issues related to the PPF product beyond those covered by the Xpel manufacturer’s warranty, nor any other liabilities related to the products or services provided.

8. Customer Responsibilities

8.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to arrive on time for their appointment. We cannot guarantee timely completion of the service if you arrive late.

8.2 The customer is responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is in full working order and suitable for service.

8.3 The customer must ensure that the vehicle is presented in a clean and presentable condition upon arrival for service. If the vehicle is not in an acceptable condition for pre-delivery inspection, additional charges may apply for cleaning.

9. Timeframes for Service

The timeframe for completing the service depends on the level of service chosen and the specific requirements of the customer. We will communicate expected timeframes during the booking process; however, delays may occur, and we cannot guarantee exact completion times.

10. Aftercare and Maintenance

10.1 It is the customer’s responsibility to properly maintain and care for their paint protection film (PPF) installation.

10.2 In order to maintain the integrity of the PPF and validate the warranties provided, the customer must avoid using unprofessional maintenance services such as roadside car washes or mechanical car washes.

10.3 Use of automatic or roadside car washes, abrasive cleaning tools, or improper maintenance will void both the Xpel manufacturer’s warranty and our 12-month installation warranty.

10.4 For optimal care, we recommend hand washing your vehicle using soft microfiber towels, pH-neutral car cleaning products, and avoiding harsh chemicals or aggressive cleaning techniques.

10.5 Following the installation of the paint protection film, we will provide you with detailed care instructions. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow these instructions, including waiting at least 7 days before washing the vehicle. Failure to follow post-installation care instructions will result in the voiding of any warranties.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal discussions or mediation before resorting to legal action.

11.2 If a resolution cannot be reached through mediation, either party may then seek recourse through the courts of England and Wales.

12. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing our obligations where such failure is a result of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, extreme weather conditions, pandemics, industrial disputes, or government restrictions.

13. Data Protection and Privacy

We take the privacy and security of your personal data seriously. Any information collected from you, such as contact details, payment information, and vehicle information, will be used solely for the purposes of providing the requested services and will be stored securely in accordance with UK GDPR regulations. We do not share your personal data with any third parties without your consent.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and any services provided are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising in relation to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be made available on our website, and it is the customer’s responsibility to review them prior to booking any service.

By booking and using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
