A Week in the Life at Pure PPF – Protecting Aston Martins, Classic Ferraris & Porsche GT Cars
There’s something about walking into the Pure PPF workshop in the morning and seeing a row of vehicles that makes you stop, smile… and maybe pinch yourself.
This past week has been one for the books.
We’ve worked on Aston Martins, classic Ferraris, and modern Porsche GT cars — each one a masterpiece, each one deserving the very best in paint protection film, ceramic coating, and paint correction.
Aston Martin Paint Protection Film Installation
The Astons came in for full-body Xpel Paint Protection Film (PPF). Under the workshop lights, their curves looked even more dramatic. Xpel PPF is virtually invisible, but it’s the best kind of invisible — the kind that stops stone chips, road debris, and swirl marks from ever touching the paintwork.
While waiting for a bonnet film to settle, we took a tea break and found ourselves debating the best Aston Martin James Bond car. (No surprise — the DB5 won the vote.)
Classic Ferrari Paint Correction & PPF
Then came the classic Ferraris — the kind you’d normally only see behind velvet ropes at an auction. Before applying protection, we carried out hours of meticulous paint correction to remove imperfections and restore deep, mirror-like clarity.
Every pass of the polisher was about preserving history. One Ferrari owner even shared the story of how he tracked down his car after years of searching — the perfect reminder of why classic car paint protection matters.
Porsche GT Ceramic Coating & PPF
The Porsche GT models we worked on are built to be driven hard. For these performance machines, we combined full Xpel PPF coverage with IGL Ceramic Coating. This not only protects the paint from track-day grit and road debris but also makes cleaning effortless thanks to the hydrophobic finish.
Installing the PPF on the GT’s rear wing is always a test of skill — patience, precision, and sometimes a second cup of coffee are essential.
